Quadra night coming up!
We have changed the structure of our classes and added Quadra sessions on the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month.
What is Quadra?
Quadra is when both dancers and bateria get together on the same session to dance and play Samba.
These sessions will be open to members, non members or anyone who wants to join us for a bit of samba fun.
Quadra won't follow the same structure of our classes but give everyone the opportunity to get together and show off their skills!!
The Quadra sessions will happen in two parts, first hour for rehearsal, we'll have a short break and the last part with a bit of samba fun!!
Why have we added the Quadra sessions?
There are many benefits:
A bit of a social get together
Rehearse ahead of performances
Open sessions to the whole community
Show off our dancing and drumming skills!
What should I bring?
Bring your beleza t-shirts if you have them, some comfortable clothes for drumming and dancing and otherwise just your happy joyful Samba self!
It is great to have you with us on this next step of our journey, we are so proud of our Samba School and where we have come in a year - thank you for your support and we hope to see you at our Quadra!
