We joined London School of Samba in Ala India - a scorching day at London's biggest street party!
Six Beleza dancers headed off to London to dance in Ala India with the London School of Samba. After A full day of rehearsals and costume fitting with dancers from across the country we had our moves down and needed a good nights rest before the big day!
Starting at 6am we headed to the college that LSS had taken over for the weekend for make up and last minute costume. The orange and gold make up looked STUNNING and we new we were going to make and impact on the parade! A sneaky photographer took this shot of Sarah getting her makeup done and it made it in to The Guardian photos!
The parade was amazing and the dancers and crowds loved it! The feeling of dancing for a million people is amazing - the atmosphere is electric! We came 2nd but a great day had by all. So lucky to be a part of it with London School of Samba!
